BRISBANE – On the afternoon of the second day of the training course it became apparent that the previous day and a half was an enormous waste of time.
The course started promptly at 9am on day one where the trainer gave an overview of the content and ran through housekeeping before trainees broke the ice by interviewing the person next to them.
After numerous sessions of teaming up into smaller groups and writing answers on butchers paper and coloured post-it notes the process was largely repeated on the second day.
On the afternoon of the final day the trainer played a video that covered the course content so efficiently it became apparent that was all that was required.
‘They probably could just have shown us this video and not waste everyone’s time’ said course attendee Renee Perkins. ‘In all good faith I cannot recommend this Effective Time Management course to anyone’.
