Surry Hills, Sydney – In a converted warehouse just off Riley Street is a nondescript facade that houses a cool interior. As you walk up the stairs you’ll see framed ads that won this prestigious agency many awards. Once you’re inside you’ll see an expensive espresso machine in one corner next to a pool table. But what makes this office unique is its Chief Barketing Officer, Pablo.
Pablo, a 3-year old bulldog is an office staple. He’s friendly with everyone and has a plaque above his bed that reads Employee of the Month. And Last Month. And Every Other Month.
Although he sometimes disrupts meetings with his vicious farts and has a habit of defecating under the video editor’s desk he’s still there when the hard work needs to be done, like eating scraps he gets fed every lunch break and being taken for walkies when his owner needs to stretch his legs after working on that huge proposal.
It has been reported that recent hires aren’t happy that they don’t have bios on the agency’s About Us page, whereas Pablo’s bio is at the very top.
