Longest day ever? This man left his headphones at home

SYDNEY – Inner West commuter Dylan Tan’s day was about to become a lot worse when he rushed to Newtown train station and realised he left his headphones at home.

Arriving at the office forty minutes later Mr. Tan had to endure school children comparing Spotify playlists at full volume, despite them all being the same tracks by Ice Spice. But what awaited him at the office was even worse.

Mr. Tan’s desk neighbour Kelly Taylor, aka Kells, attended Splendour in the Grass over the weekend and enthusiastically regaled dancing to Mumford and Sons to anyone who walked by her desk.

Things took a dark turn when mid-morning small talk in his team turned to last night’s episode of The Project where it was announced that Target and KMart will merge, to which Kells proclaimed she likes going to KMart to buy scented candles.
There was also the matter of a coworker nearby who had a runny nose, but took no steps to remedy it.

After not being seen at his desk for quite some time reports indicate Mr. Tan booked a meeting room for himself from 11am to 5pm and described his ordeal as ‘a valuable lesson’
