MELBOURNE – Authorities found the frozen remains of Social Media Manager Patricia Stevenson on Monday morning. As reported two weeks ago, Ms. Stevenson was rugged up from the harsh office elements as office temps fell to 21ºC. Since then the mercury dropped by a further two degrees.
Witnesses stated Ms. Stevenson tried to turn the heating up but the thermostat was centrally controlled, rendering the device useless. That was the last time anyone heard from her. It is believed her coworkers thought she was working on a proposal at home.
Authorities found her frozen remains early on Monday morning after a cleaner alerted them that her office resembled a walk-in freezer. ‘It was like that scene in Goodfellas where they found Frankie Carbone in the meat truck’, said the cleaner.

Early reports suggest that the office temp falling to 19ºC may have been the cause, as her desk was covered in a light frost and Ms. Stevenson was still wearing her gloves, scarf and beanie.
A report to the coroner is being prepared.
