We suspected something was up when he didn’t wear his Napalm Death t-shirt and jeans.

Perth – Foregoing his usual attire of a band t-shirt and jeans Team Lead Anthony Hampton turned heads when he arrived at the office wearing a suit and sporting a fresh haircut. He was playfully teased asking why he’s all dressed up, with Mr. Hampton stated he’s making an effort to appear more professional. A comment that raised a few eyebrows considering the office dress code is casual and his work t-shirts fluctuate between Cannibal Corpse, Metallica and Napalm Death.

At 11am he sent his team a message saying he has a dentist appointment and he’d be out from 11:30 till around 2pm.

His team members noted that in the previous few days when he was in the office he’d take phone calls in meeting rooms or respond that he’d call them right back. Rumours started to circulate he was speaking to recruiters as he also updated his skills on LinkedIn.

Emotions were mixed with workers discussing how they would feel if he were to move on; on one hand he’s a great leader, but on the other they were pretty sick of him commandeering the office playlists with his brand of 80s and 90s heavy metal.
